How did you and your partner meet?
It all started over a bank deposit, back then in 2013. Like any other client waiting to make a cash deposit I was confronted by “Sharlin Pancham”… Sharlin: Hi Ma'am, How can I help you? Me: Stubborn as ever, I replied. No I’m just here to deposit my money Sharlin: I can help you, come over to counter 2. Within 10 min I was all done. Least realising my contact number was reference on my deposit slip. Never do I regret the call I got the next day from my prince Charming were it all began! Tell us more of how he proposed? It al happened after the day both our parents met on the 23 August 2015. It wasn’t a fancy "down on one knee" proposal, but rather simple, as we both sat in the lounge of my parent’s house, he asked, "Babe do you know how much I love you, from the very first day I met you in the bank." I jokingly replied, "No can you show me (LOL)". Out he pops a Sterns jewellery box and said “Will you be my future Wife?” With giggles and excitement I replied “Why not my Love!”
How are you and your partner planning your wedding? Do you have a plan etc. What are the highs and lows? To be honest its extremely difficult. As I am in Pietermaritzburg and my fiancé is in Johannesburg. So not much planning is taking place. We are just taking it one step at a time. We both aren’t in that mind of "Oh we want a fancy wedding". We just want it to be a simple fairy tale in a temple and a small reception with close family and friends. The highs of planning our event at the moment are that we have everyones support especially our parents. The lows are not everything we see and like we can afford. But I am sure with each other’s support we can overcome that. Tell us why you should win the competition with the make-up artist Mithal? This is what I have always wanted and as this competition came about I thought here’s my chance, to be the most dashing bride on my wedding day and getting dressed only by the most popular, artistic, talented makeup artist and hairstylist Mithal Bridgmohan would be my dream come true.I think if I win this competition it would make looking beautiful one step more easier.
